Due to beloved leader's failure to actually ensure that there are no barriers to trade, I am no longer able to ship to NI even though it is part of the UK. It is treated as a EU destination and requires me to register for different trading systems, get special refernece numbers and a whole list of red tape.
The red tape is convoluted, unclear and totally unnecessary. I could simply put the book in the post but there is no guarantee it would be delivered and there is a distinct possibility that the customer would have to pay EU VAT and customs charges.
Until this mess gets sorted out, the only thing I can do is stop shipping to NI.
Sorry doesn't express my anger enough at this farcical process that has been foisted on me.
